Doma Forum Consulting provides the following services as part of its financial consultancy:
- Technical consultancy
- According to your existing procedures and products, based on our experience, we can develop a credit technology adapted to the necessities and to the real situation of SMEs in Romania: small and micro enterprises authorized physical persons, family associations, liberal professions, producers involved in agriculture activity, etc. It is very important to know that many of these clients, who, at this moment of development of the market, are not trusting the banking system (or they have not had any contact with the Romanian Banking System before, or they have had “unpleasant” contacts and their opinion about the effectiveness of the Banking system is a very bad one).
- We can prepare a scoring system for the groups of clients mentioned above, considering the different types of accounting registration requirements for all of them. It is necessary, also, to segment the SMEs sector according with the size of the entities (based on the turnover, number of employees, total assets, etc).
- We can adapt the credit documentation used by the bank to the small clients, taking into account that the majority of this kind of clients does not know how to prepare a business plan, budgets, cash flows, etc. We can also adapt the flow of these documents to increase the flexibility of the products.
- Based on the bank policy, we can create specific products for different segments of clients with features adapted to specific markets (client approach, analysis process, monitoring, types of collateral, etc)
- Our team of consultants has a long experience in dealing with clients from rural areas (as agriculture producers, but also other economic activities). Based on this experience we can implement a specific analysis system for those enterprises or physical persons with the activity in rural areas, especially to design a product for the clients involved in agriculture. At this moment, this segment seems to be almost untouched, and only few banks have found appropriate solutions to make profit-dealing business in this area.
- Training
- Based on the credit policy settled by the bank for these types of clients, we can organize seminars for the loan officers. Here they will learn the specific credit techniques based on cash flow analysis, detecting real payment capacity and understanding financial indicators. They will detect ways to attract clients and they will understand the client approach, the efficient ways of extracting the necessary information to asses credit risks, cross checking of the information and cross selling products, ways of negotiation with specific clients, specific monitoring process and recovering, specific juridical issues which loan officers usually encounter during the analysis, etc.
- Based on our vast experience, we can also support branches to select and train new loan officers, considering the penury of specialized staff on the market.
